Inovatech Egg Products traces its beginning to 1993 when a partnership was formed between an Abbotsford, British Columbia egg grading business, an egg processing company in St. Marys, Ontario and the egg division of a Winnipeg, Manitoba business to become Canadian Inovatech Inc. This new company became a dominant player in the Canadian egg processing business as well as a global leader in egg extraction technology. It evolved into an international company employing the latest in technology, research and development to produce and market egg, egg-based and nutraceutical ingredients and finished products. In August 2002, the egg business segment of Canadian Inovatech was acquired by Michael Foods, Inc. of Minnetonka, Minnesota and became Inovatech Egg Products.
Food Ingredients - Frozen Liquid and Dried Egg ProductsWith its main production facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba, frozen liquid and dried egg products are processed and packed for distribution across Canada through Inovatech distribution centers located in Ontario and British Columbia. Markets currently served outside of Canada include Mexico, Central and South America, Australia, New Zealand and into Asia. All markets are provided with a full line of Food Ingredient products to meet the needs of bakery operators, dry mix companies, pasta, and sauces and dressings manufacturers. Dried whole eggs products include standard, free flow, fortified, desugared and high solids. Dried egg whites (albumen) products include standard, Hi Gel and Hi Whip. Dried egg yolks are available as standard or free flow. Frozen egg yolks are available with 10% Salt or 20% Sugar.
